Do you do this full-time?
Yes! I’m very fortunate to do what I love full-time. During the week, I work on sets for photoshoots, commercials, and video productions, and on weekends, I get to glam brides for their big day.
How long have you been doing hair and makeup?
I’m a licensed cosmetologist and have been working professionally since 2013. Over the years, I’ve worked on weddings, photoshoots, commercials, video productions, and film/TV.
What’s your specialty?
For makeup, I specialize in soft glam and natural glam—looks that enhance your beauty without feeling heavy. For hair, I love effortless, textured styles with movement—nothing too stiff or overdone.
Why does hair and makeup for the bride cost more?
For the bride, there's a more thorough skincare and hair prep as if I were working on a celebrity or red carpet. I also include body glow and a custom touch-up kit. I also spend time behind the scenes—answering emails, finalizing details, and creating a schedule so the whole morning runs smoothly.
Why does the trial cost the same as the wedding day service?
Trials often take even longer than the wedding day! We test out different styles, make adjustments, and really fine-tune the look until it’s exactly what you want. It’s all about ensuring you feel comfortable and confident on your special day.
Do you offer trials?
Yes, trials are highly recommended for brides. They give us the chance to perfect your desired look before the big day.
What should I bring to my trial or appointment?
Bring along inspiration photos of hair and makeup you love, as well as any accessories, hair extensions, or lipstick you’d like to use.
How long does each service take?
Bride
Makeup 60-90 minutes
Hair 60-90 minutes
Bridal Party
Makeup 30-45 minutes
Hair 30-45 minutes
Can you accommodate large bridal parties?
Yes! Depending on the size of your party and timeline, I may bring additional artists. I work with trusted freelancers who are highly skilled and professional.
Do you have a studio?
No, I provide on-location services only—so you can relax and get ready in your own space.
Makeup
Do I need to bring my own makeup?
Nope—I bring a fully stocked professional kit. That said, you’re welcome to bring your own lipstick and powder for touch-ups throughout the day.
Will my makeup last all day?
Yes! I use products designed for longevity and photography. I also provide the bride with a touch-up kit (makeup: powder, blotting paper, and q-tips; hair: hairspray and bobby pins) to keep everything fresh.
Do you offer airbrush makeup?
Airbrush is available upon request. Makeup has evolved, and I find that traditional liquid foundation looks more natural, photographs better, and lasts longer.
Hair
Should I wash my hair before my appointment?
I prefer day 2 hair. Please arrive with clean, completely dry hair. This ensures your style holds best.
Do you work with extensions?
Yes. Please have them clean, dry, and detangled before the appointment. If you need them installed, be sure to book that as an add-on service in advance.
How do I make sure my curls last?
Starting with clean, dry hair is key. Avoid heat-styling your hair before the appointment.
Booking & Policies
How far in advance should I book my hair and makeup?
As soon as possible! Most brides book a year to a year and a half in advance to secure their date. Ideally, no later than 6 months before. The longer you wait, the harder it may be for me to secure additional artists if needed.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Zelle(preferred), Venmo (plus seller's fee), and debit/credit card (plus card fee)
When is the deadline for paying the remaining balance?
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 3 days before the wedding. If paying with cash, you can pay on the day of your wedding before any services begin.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel the contract at any time up to 6 months before your wedding date and lose the deposit. After that, you are charged 50% of the quoted rate.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Travel is complimentary within 30 miles of South Philadelphia. Beyond that, the standard IRS mileage rate is applied per artist. Parking fees must also be covered.
Can I make changes to my booking later?
Yes, changes can be made through your booking confirmation email. You’ll also receive an automated reminder 3 months before your wedding to update any details.
Are your prices or minimums negotiable?
No, my pricing is set and non-negotiable.
